Answers to Prayer

Thank you to all who have expressed interest in our preparations for going to England, and to all who have also given promises of prayer for us. Your love and concern is a real blessing to us!

We have had some developments in the prayer requests mentioned in our last update:
  1. We have renters for our home here in Three Hills! They are the family we were hoping to have here, some missionary friends of ours that are home on furlough for next year. It looks like we will pretty much be able to match our time away with their time here.
  2. Things are working out for Michael's sabbatical at Prairie. An interim department chair has been appointed, with other department members taking up some slack as well. Also, Prairie will have a visiting professor on campus for the first semester who can teach Michael's upper level courses.
  3. We have finally pulled together all the necessary materials for the passport applications for Larissa and the kids, and Larissa will be making application in person this Friday, April 1 (no joke!).
  4. Michael has heard back from one of the major scholarships he applied for--a very polite "We're sorry, but there were so many strong applications..." We should hear back about another major scholarship in the next week or so, and still another three weeks or so after that. If these do not come through, then we will be looking at other financing options.
The passports and financing are the next big things that need to be in place. Once these are in place, then we can apply for student and dependant visas.

Thank you all for your continued interest and prayers!
