Minor Miracles

It's hard to believe the Big Move (aka E-Day) is only one week away!

We have now moved out of our house (minor miracle #1), our renters have moved in, we made it to my sister's wedding (congratulations again, Susan and Andrew!) in Regina this past weekend (minor miracle #2), and we are living with Larissa's Mom for this week. You'd be forgiven if you think this will be a nice restful week at Grandma's house; in fact, we still have a lot of work to do! We will be back at our house some over the next few days, finishing up work on the yard and the garage, and we still have to do the actual sorting and packing for the Big Move, as well as all those last minute to-dos which take far more time than you think they will.

We've had one significant piece of good news over the past few days: A friend of a friend in England who is a pastor has offered to pick us up right at London Heathrow with the church mini-bus and drive us and all our luggage right to our flat in Birmingham! The details still all need to be worked out, but this is certainly larger-than-minor miracle #3!

Thank you to all who have continued to support and encourage us in various ways. As E-Day approaches, we are realizing how many people care for us, and how many people we will miss during our time away.
