Unexpected Snow!
This morning we woke up to a nice blanket of snow. Since we are products of the empty, dry Canadian prairies we always see in this the blessing of God, for several reasons. Snow in the winter means life, providing a little more moisture for spring seeding. Snow in the winter means beauty, transforming the brown and dirty landscape of the prairies into a world of clean, pure white. And snow at any time means play, as we Canadians can pull out our favourite winter sports and games. So, having this rare accumulation of snow here in England is for these Canadians-in-exile nothing less than the tangible (and cold and wet!) sign of the blessing of God.
