Michael's British Birthday

Today we celebrated Michael's sixth birthday. Since our Warwick Castle trips have been such a memorable part of Michael's British experience, we thought the best birthday gift would be something castle-related. So, between us and Grandma Down, Michael received a Lego castle set complete with knights (both "baddies" and "goodies"), a siege tower, a catapult, and even a dragon. After a morning of castle warfare, we took advantage of a beautiful day to go for a picnic at Bournville Park. The birthday was topped off with a supper with friends and a Thomas the Tank Engine cake. Here are some pics from the day.
