A Tour of Our Flat--Finally!

The long-awaited tour of our Birmingham flat is finally here! Sorry to keep everyone in suspense: we waited at first until the flat had more of a "lived-in" look, and then we waited so long it had too much of a "lived-in" look...

Our flat is on the first floor of Asbury Overseas House (for our North American friends, that's the second floor, one above the ground floor). We have a great south-facing view with large windows looking out on a green space with lots of trees.

The master bedroom is on the left when you walk into the flat.

The next room on the left is the spacious living/dining room.


At the end of the hall is the second bedroom, packed with smiling kids and all their stuff.

Turning back down the other side of the hall, you find the very small, but fairly modern, kitchen.

The last are the bathroom and toilet, divided into two separate rooms. As you can see, the toilet is occupied...
